Those basic areas often not appear on infant with huge tendency of autism. Symptoms of autism in the early years are including not smiling by six month of age, not babbling, pointing, and showing other normal gestures by 12 months age, not using any single word by 16 months age and not using two words by 24 months ages. Infant with autism will also lose their social skills and tend to withdraw from public.

Even though there are many symptoms of autism that might appears in the early six months, most experts believe that autism couldn’t be diagnosed until reaching age of three. However, you need to consult to your pediatrician when you find any symptom of autism. Early detection will help you find the proper and effective early intervention to ensure that your children will receive appropriate help and support on his autism. With proper treatment and intervention, kid with autism could grow and live like normal children.
